Accommondations

Choose from four luxury suites with private, in-suite baths, king size beds, luxury linens, in-suite central heat and air and a host of other amenities. The Romance Jacuzzi Suite, the Tuscan Jacuzzi Suite, and the Loft in the Clouds are located in the Guest House while the fourth, the Wine Country Jacuzzi, is adjacent to the Main House. All of our suites incorporate outside entrances so there is no need to feel like you are moving in with the owners or with our other guests! For those of you who prefer the traditional B&B experience, we also offer one room situated in the Main House where John & I reside, The Victorian Room, offering a queen size bed and private bath in addition to a host of other amenities.

Looking for a double whirlpool? Take a look at our Romance, Tuscan and Wine Country suites. Or do you prefer a fireplace? Well, then the Romance, Tuscan and Loft may be to your tastes. And while a three course served breakfast is our standard, please know that we offer options ranging from no breakfast to "breakfast in bed". Be sure to check out our Special Packages page for these ooptions and an array of other Discount, Epicurean, Celebration and Luxury Service packages.

Please note that we do have a two-night minimum stay for advanced reservations on the weekend from April through November, with one night reservations welcome Sunday through Thursday. We do offer discounts for longer term stays... 1/2 off the 4th night; 6th night free and 1/2 price Tuesday to name a few. Please see our Special Packages page.

Romance Jacuzzi Suite

Sip a glass of champagne while you watch the sunset from your private balcony. Then slip into an oversized two-person Jacuzzi and be mesmerized by a fire dancing in the fireplace*. Better yet, pop in that romantic movie you've been longing to see and relax as the bubbles swirl around you. You may find yourself wishing that you could stay forever! This spacious, two-room suite, located in the Guest House, ensures a romantic staywith it's oversized king bed, private in-suite bath and a host of other special amenities.

Tuscan Romance Jacuzzi Suite

This beautiful suite brings together all of the color and flavor of the Tuscan wine country beginning with a bedroom painted in the vibrant hues of Merlot wine. Sip a glass of your favorite wine from the private balcony, lounge in front of the fireplace*, or relax in the large two-person Jacuzzi surrounded by a handpainted mural of the Tuscan countryside. Located in our Guest House, a private in-suite bath and king bed accompanies this spacious suite as does a host of other special amenities

The Loft in the Clouds Suite

Fireplace, sky windows, angled ceilings, king size bed and an in-suite private bath are only the beginnings of this wonderful suite nestled on the top floor of the Guest House. Soft clouds and vignettes of Hidden Lake birds grace the walls and serve to bring the beauty of the outside in. Enjoy the spectacular views afforded by your private balcony, perhaps catching a glimpse of Bald Knob Mountain on a clear evening. This suite will sleep one additional person and includes a host of other special amenities.

Wine Country Jacuzzi Suite

The rich colors of this beautiful suite celebrate the essence of Southern Illinois' wine country. Relax in the large two-person Jacuzzi whirlpool and enjoy a beautiful flower garden and patio, complete with chiminea, just steps outside your private entrance. A private in-suite bath and king-size bed accompanies this spacious suite as does host of other special amenities.

The Victorian Room
Beautiful views off the French balcony are just the beginning of this lovely room. Located on the 2nd floor of the Main House, The Victorian Room ensures a sense of peace and serenity with its private in-suite bath and queen-size bed as well as a host of other special amenities. And don't worry, a combination lock on the front door of the Main House ensures that you can come and go as you please with no curfew!

The Victorian Room includes all of the amenity listed here except an outside entrance, a microwave oven and a steroe. It also offers a queen size bed versus a king.

We are also happy to pick-up any additional items you might need (particularly if you are trying to plan a surprise get-away!) for simply the cost of the item(s) and a nominal (typically $7) service charge.

State and local taxes are not included. A $25 charge
per day is applicable to the accommodation
of a 3rd person in the Loft Suite..

* Please note that the fireplaces are turned off
